Hoy martes 23 de enero de 2024 la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas compartió la lista de nominados a los Premios Oscar 2024.
En esta ocasión el director de fotografía Rodrigo Prieto se robó las miradas por el trabajo realizado en la cinta Killers of the Flower Moon y figurando en la lista de nominados poniendo en alto a México.
¿Quién es Rodrigo Prieto?
Rodrigo Prieto es un director de fotografía bastante reconocido en Hollywood por sus trabajos en famosas cintas. Nació el 23 de noviembre de 1965 en la Ciudad de México (CDMX).
Su formación comenzó en el Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) y se ha caracterizado por su excelente dominio de la iluminación, además de que ha ido añadiendo la tecnología con el manejo de la fotografía dentro del estudio.
Durante sus años de carrera ha sido nominado por su trabajo en films como Brokeback Mountain, Silence y The Irishman.
También ha trabajado junto al director mexicano Alejandro González Iñárritu, en las famosas películas Amores Perros y Babel.
Hoy en día su nombre ha acaparado los titulares gracias a su notable desempeño en la película Killers of the Flow Moon, donde se lució con su manejo de la fotografía.
